Project Description

In 2023, a two-unit residential development spanning 2,920 square feet was completed at 52 Chatham Street in Hamilton’s Kirkendall neighborhood. This project was a custom build, completed by Team Shane – a luxury home builder. The development involved a minor variance and a consent to sever application to obtain the necessary approvals, enabling the construction of the two distinct residential units. The development aimed to provide much-needed housing options in a desirable area while complying with local planning regulations.

The Kirkendall neighborhood of Hamilton, known for its blend of historic homes and newer developments. The area is characterized by tree-lined streets, proximity to parks, and convenient access to local amenities, making it an attractive destination for families and professionals alike. The Kirkendall neighborhood has been experiencing a resurgence in residential development, driven by increasing demand for multi-family housing.
