UrbanSolutions Planning & Land Development Consultants Inc. is the authorized planning consultant acting on behalf of Forum Properties, the owner of 1310 South Service Road, Hamilton.
The proposed development includes a parking lot area to accommodate an expansion to Costco Wholesale's existing surface parking lot. There is 670 existing vehicle parking spaces and this proposal is to permit 204 additional vehicle parking spaces to provide a total of 872 vehicle parking spaces. To accomodate this, an Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment is required.
The purpose of this website is to provide interested parties with access to the proposed development application details, supporting studies and access to participate in the planning process.
Prior to submitting planning applications to the City of Hamilton, the City of Hamilton have identified the following submission materials be required to evaluate the proposal: Plan of Survey, Concept Plan, Planning Brief, draft Official Plan Amendment, draft Zoning By-law Amendment, Landscape Plan, Functional Servicing Report/ Stormwater Management Brief, Preliminary Grading Plan, Preliminary Storm Servicing Plan, Transportation Impact Brief, Public Consultation Summary and Zoning Compliance Reivew.
These reports are being currently being compiled and once submitted to the City of Hamilton and upon application being deemed complete, the reports will be uploaded for public review.
June 4, 2026 - Application for Zoning Compliance Review submitted to the City of Hamilton.
TBD - Application for Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment applications to be submitted to the City of Hamilton.
