UrbanSolutions Planning & Land Development Consultants Inc. (UrbanSolutions) is the authorized planning consultant acting on behalf of 1955132 Ontario Ltd., in relation to their development proposal for the lands municipally known as 122 & 126 Augusta Street and 127 Young Street, Hamilton, Ontario.
The proposal entails establishing a four-storey residential development consisting of 27 residential dwelling units and 21 parking spaces at grade while the existing dwelling at 125 Young Street will remain. Two additional spaces will be provided for the 125 Young Street dwelling and vehicle access will be provided for the 4 storey proposed building from Young Street.
To facilitate this proposal, an application for a Zoning By-law Amendment was submitted to the City of Hamilton in on December 21, 2017.
The purpose of this website is to provide interested parties with access to the proposed development application details, supporting studies and access to participate in the planning process.
Prior to submitting planning applications to the City of Hamilton, the development concept participated in the City’s Formal Consultation process. Through this process, it was determined that a Survey Plan, Concept Plan, Planning Justification Report, Site Plan / Building Elevations, Urban Design Report, Archaeological Assessment, Cultural Heritage Impact Assessment, Functional Servicing Report, Noise Impact Study, Vibration Study, Transportation Demand Management Options Report, and a Public Consultation Strategy would be required to evaluate the proposal.
All these items have been completed and submitted to the City of Hamilton in support of the proposal and copies of the reports are available for review.

January 16, 2018 – Application for Zoning By-law Amendment deemed complete by the City of Hamilton
January 29, 2018 – Circulation to the surrounding public
January 7, 2019 – Revised concept plan and architectural plans submitted
April 30, 2019 – Zoning By-law Amendment application approved by City of Hamilton Planning Committee.
