117 Forest & 175 Catharine

UrbanSolutions Planning & Land Development Consultants Inc. is the authorized planning consultant acting on behalf of Representative Holdings Inc., the owner of 117 Forest Ave & 175 Catharine St S.

An initial Zoning By-law Amendment application was submitted in 2016 and approved in 2020. If you have any questions about this Zoning By-law application, please contact us at [email protected].

In 2022, a new Concept has been prepared and therefore a new Zoning By-law Amendment will be required. The proposal for the subject property is to develop a residential building with 256 units, beside the existing apartment building known as the Brockton. On the undeveloped portion of the property, the proposal entails establishing a 24 storey multiple residential building. An underground parking garage with 123 spaces is also proposed.

The purpose of this website is to provide interested parties with access to the proposed development application details, supporting studies and access to participate in the planning process.

RESOURCES

Prior to submitting planning applications to the City of Hamilton, the development concept participated in the City’s Formal Consultation process. Through this process, it was determined that a Survey, Concept Plan, Planning Justification Report, Elevations, Urban Design Report, Functional Servicing Report, Landscape Drawings and a Parking Analysis would be required to evaluate the proposal.

These reports have been completed and submitted to the City of Hamilton in support of the proposal and copies of the reports are available for you to review.
